Senior Sing A-long’s mission is to revitalize the minds and spirits of people in long-term care communities using music and other live arts.

For almost 20 years, Senior Sing A-long has been sharing the magic of music with seniors and veterans in long-term care communities…changing how they experience life. Reaching thousands of our aging neighbors with live concerts, music therapy, and individualized dementia services, right in the comfort and safety of their own living community, Senior Sing A-long brings excitement and inspiration back into their daily lives.

Senior Sing A-long was established in 2004 to serve low-income seniors, veterans, and others who are confined to a long-term care facility due to loss of mobility or health. The nonprofit maintains a focus on those living with the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia, offering on-site therapeutic, evidence-based, quality of life programming, including: The only nonprofit organization of its kind in the State of Michigan, Senior Sing A-long currently serves approximately 60 local care communities that are home to over 8,000 seniors, restoring happiness—and memories—to seniors and veterans every day.
